Robot platform
thingiverse
This is a robot platform project that will consist of several key components:\r\n- A low-cost DC motor mount\r\n- A base plate\r\n- A rear wheel mount\r\n- An Arduino mount\r\n- A LiPo battery compartment\r\n- Other boards mounts\r\n\r\n23.12.2018: The first upload was the motor.stl file, which includes a motor mount with a tachometer. Print settings were 0.3mm layer thickness, 100% infill, no supports, and PLA material was used. There are M3 holes on top and at the back of the chassis, allowing for easy installation of the tachometer and wheel on both sides.\r\n\r\n24.12.2018 The second upload was the robot_board.stl file, a generic robot baseplate. Print settings were 0.3mm layer thickness, 100% infill, no supports, and PLA material was used. M3 holes are placed throughout, ensuring a perfect fit with the motor mount.\r\n\r\n25.12.2018 The third upload was the robot_rear_wheel.stl file, a spacer for rear wheel made from furniture wheel. Print settings were 0.3mm layer thickness, 25% infill, no supports, and PLA material was used. M3 holes are provided for mounting to baseplate, while M4 holes accommodate the attaching of the wheel.\r\n\r\n26.12.2018 The fourth upload was the robot_arduino_mount.stl file, a frame for mounting Arduino Uno to the baseplate. Print settings were 0.3mm layer thickness, 100% infill, no supports, and PLA material was used. M3 holes are provided for both arduino and baseplate.\r\n\r\n27.12.2018 A fix was applied to the fourth upload robot_arduino_mount.stl file, raising the arduino board so space can be created below for LiPo battery accommodation. Print settings were 0.2mm layer thickness, 50% infill, no supports, and PLA material was used.\r\n\r\n6.01.2019 The robot_arduino_mount.stl file underwent another fix, with the addition of a panel for H-bridge module on the side and clips for bluetooth module (HC-05 ZS-040).\r\n\r\n6.01.2019 The fifth upload was the robot_onoff_switch.stl file, a simple case for ON/OFF switch with holes for mounting DC-DC converter. Print settings were 0.2mm layer thickness, 40% infill, no supports, and PLA material was used.\r\n\r\n2.01.2020 A bumper with holes for HC-SR04 sensor was added - zderzak.stl.
