This original head, designed for robots, features ping pong ball-shooting capabilities from its mouth and light-moving eyes. Despite not using it in other robots, it's showcased on Livebots, a website creating interactive internet robots; visit http://livebots.cc/Robot/View/11 to control it. For the eyes system, you'll need two servos (at least one micro), two LEDs, wires, and nuts and bolts, along with a controller like Arduino.
