Robot D (AlphaBot)
thingiverse
This is the third in a series I was calling Robot-a-Week. Let's face it - Robot-a-Week is never going to work out. Since there seems to be a pattern for their names, I will call them the AlphaBots. Clever? ## Robot D A spider-like robot that's making waves. ### Features - Five legs that are perfect for the busy maker who doesn't have time to print 8 legs. - The body has three 6mm octagonal holes on top that can be used to mount various accessories - I made a big gun, but you can create your own. - Leg joints use a locking wheel to engage the sprockets and lock them into place with ease. - The head is mounted underneath using the octagonal hole in the center - it's a clever design. - Big gun? No problem. You don't want the gun? Simply don't print it. ### AlphaBots (formerly Robot-a-Week) Be sure to watch for the next robot in this series - my Fusion 360 skills are improving and the robots are getting more complex by the day. As always, please leave any questions in the Comments section. I'll do my best to answer them promptly. Also be sure to show off any robots you make from this series - I would love to see your creations. _Hopefully we can create a great robot army that's out of this world!_
