Robot Arm V1
prusaprinters

This is my first go at developing my own robotic arm. It uses an Arduino UNO, 16 Channel Servo Motor Shield, and 2 Joysticks (all sourced from Adafruit). This version was developed around the SG90 servo, which unfortunately was much too weak. It ended up collapsing under its own weight. I suspected this but wanted to develop under that constraint, building a foundation for future designs. All parts are 3D printed.

Everything except the screws were Printed at 0.2mm, 15% infill, 4 perimeters. The screws were printed at 0.07 layer height, 100% infill.

Even though this model isn't fully functional, I still thought it was worthwhile to share with the community.

More robust versions will follow in the future, each with increased capabilities.

Print instructions

Most Parts:
0.2 mm
15% infill
4 perimeters
215 degrees C

Screws:
0.07mm
100% infill
215 degrees C
