Here is a small robot I built for a special holiday course for kids. In six weeks, with two hours of class per week, the kids completed the entire robot. The cost comes out to around twenty dollars per robot in materials. They can customize the top with Tinkercad and start programming with BlocklyDuino or S4A, then switch to the Arduino IDE.
