The RoboSavvy Humanoid Robot V.1.4 is based on Bioloid GP, with minor changes made to certain structural parts such as FR04_E120 and WR04_E120. A new aluminium sheet part was introduced for the wrist and fingers. The robot features 17 AX12 servos including an extra one added to allow chest rotation. It also consists of five HXT900 micro servo motors, each weighing 11g with a torque of 2.5 kg cm. The battery used is the Zippy K Flightmax 1600mAh 3S1P Lipoly Battery, which has a capacity of 1600 mAh and voltage of 11.1V. The robot's brain is the Beaglebone Black embedded computer, chosen over Raspberry Pi due to its performance. It also includes a Hema Pocket Webcam. The shell parts are designed as 0.5mm thickness, with a 1mm thick hollow rod in the head for servo shaft support. Many shell parts can be fixed after assembly, while some require early fixes due to geometry. The Beaglebone Black is protected by two 3D printed cover pieces that are 1mm thick and can be manufactured using 3D printing or vacuum forming. Updates include V.1.1 with increased access area for fingers, V.1.2 with hip servo coverage, V.1.3 with head up and down tilt, and V.1.4 featuring Beaglebone Black and slight modifications to the head. Questions, suggestions, and feedback are welcome.
