Roborock S7 cliff sensor covers

Roborock S7 cliff sensor covers

For anyone facing the old cliff sensor on dark carpet issue, and wondering why even the latest model hasn't addressed the problem. I created these simple cliff sensor covers to fit the S7. I have an older model, and there are existing things for those, but the design and shape of these sensors is new. NOTE: I am new to 3D printing, and certainly to the model/fabrication side of things. These fit very snuggly and nicely on mine, but I make no guarantees. The space around the sensors is tight, and I had to lightly tap them in with a small hammer. But they went fully in place, and I don't think they will ever fall off. Obviously do not use these if you have stairs or something that the vacuum could fall off of. I only had this orange PLA. Looks good on the black Roborock (probably the white too), but white PLA might be better for these covers. Printing: PLA, not rafts, brims, supports (or even really infill) necessary. Took about half an hour to print all six at once. Printed on Voxelab Aquila
