Robomow RS series grip enhancer
thingiverse
These custom grips slide seamlessly onto the standard wheels of a Robomow RS series robotic lawnmower, enhancing the robot's traction and stability. If your original wheels lack sufficient grip, these prints will provide the necessary boost. Each print requires approximately 74 grams of PLA material, which is easily achievable with a standard printer setup. Supports are not needed for this print job. The photos demonstrate how three printed pieces come together to form a complete grip assembly, fitting snugly onto the wheel as designed. Unlike Robomow's robogrips, these custom grips are specifically tailored for default wheels and not power wheels. When attaching each piece to the inside of the wheel, use one screw through the center hole for secure fastening. Please note that if your wheels are brand new, the fit might be slightly tighter due to my design being based on worn-out wheels showing signs of wear. Upon request, I've also included a full wheel in one piece, although users may encounter difficulty installing it onto their wheel without removing the wheel from the robot first. I'm open to adding this version for larger print volumes if there's sufficient interest, provided it still slides easily onto the wheel.
