RoboLabs Lunar Elite - Vertex
thingiverse
Professor Bot and his team of inventors have relocated to Robolabs moon base for further development of their exceptional robot-building technology, away from the perils of malevolent Dr. Warp. However, disaster struck when one of Dr. Warp's minions hacked into RoboLabs mainframe and stole Professor Bot's Lunar Elite technology, which could be catastrophic if used by the villain to create a robot army. Now, Professor Bot depends on Vertex, his finest creation, to retrieve the plans for Lunar Elite before it's too late. In another development, a new version with redesigned joints has been uploaded; check it out at thingiverse.com/thing:69329. This project is part of a university course that involves designing a 3D printable action figure for children, entering the 'Make a bot' competition by Develop3D. The figure has snap-fit ball joints, some parts may be tight initially but loosen up soon. Certain parts are printed in two pieces to avoid support material. Deadlines are close, so requests might not get immediate responses. Enjoy experimenting with color combinations! An update states that the original head file had flipped normals; a repaired file is now available.
