Robo3D Z-Axis Auto-Level Nut Adapter - 11mm Wrench to 13mm Wrench

Here's how it all works. The strange bridges visible in center cutout sections don't need to be there and won't print, so that's a minor issue. It seems like an error occurred while reading the .obj file. This was probably caused by a problem with the boolean operation used in 3ds max for cutting out. This small cap is designed specifically for couplers used in Mike Kelly's Robo3D Auto-Level Mod, which can be found on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:349935). I had a few problems finding a single coupler that could fit my 5/16 threaded rod properly. The outer dimensions of the one I was using would only allow for an 11mm wrench to fit into it, while the Robo3D's 5/16 nut is actually used with a 13mm wrench. I initially tried just creating the entire mount and incorporating this cap without thinking that doing so might block my ability to adjust the micro-switch height. Clearly, that approach didn't work. So I ended up taking one of those caps off and using it, which turned out great. To make sure everything was separate and printed properly, I decided to take the cap out of the main design model and print them individually. I used the following settings to achieve a perfect result: PLA Layer Height: 0.1976mm (Due to imperial rod error this results in an actual layer height of 0.2 mm, which is one half of 0.4. This has the benefit of producing layers that are closer together without them overlapping too much on top of each other.) Fill Density: 100% Print Speed: 10mm/s Brim
