Update 25.08.2014 V2 Minor changes: Usable area increased to 280mm (Firmware change required) Print bed aligned to bed mount Washer for aligned print bed Instructions Installation guide: Print the following parts: 2 x Bed_mount 2 x Bearing_mount 2 x Belt_tensioner 4 x Washer 1 x Cable_clip (My print settings: PLA, layer height 0.3mm, outer perimeters first) Remove Robo3D cover, remove belt mounts, remove printbed, remove y-rails. Fix bearing-mounts with the original screws, add the four LM8UU bearings and fix them with the 8 wire strips. Enter the smooth rods and add one of the bed mounts on each side. Fix the GT2 belt with the cable stripes to the belt tensioners. Insert the belt tensioners to the bed mount and adjust it with the M3 screws. Add the wire extensions and lead them through the cable clip. Fix the cable clip with an M3 screw. If wanted, the connectors could be used if you want to remove the bed easily. Put the print bed in in place. The bed could be fixed with 4 M3 screws and the washers if wanted. Download the Robo 3D firmware. Open the firmware in Arduino IDE, switch to the tab Configuration.h, search for the section "Travel limits after homing" and edit the value Y_MAX_POS to 280. Flash the changed firmware. Edit the printer settings of your printer software like Repeiter host, set the print bed size to 280. Attention, bed is not completly covered by heat pad.
