Robo3D R1 Hobbed bolt Idler for E3D v6 upgrade
thingiverse
This is a replacement bearing that tightens material against the hobbed bolt. Upgrading to an E3D v6 hot end required using a full-length PTFE tube (notched for the hobbed bolt but sticking up 1.5" above the top of the extruder), and this tube was getting deformed by the flat surface of the bearings when changing materials. The radius cut on the replacement still applies tension to both the PTFE and filament, without deforming the PTFE or creating unwanted friction.
