Recommended print settings involve ABS or other thermoplastics boasting high glass transition temperatures to maximize performance. My original concept streamlined down to focusing solely on directing airflow directly at the nozzle; however, due to severe spatial constraints this approach led to disappointingly low airflow results. In contrast, this revised design blasts air throughout the entire hot end region, substantially amplifying its overall effectiveness. As a delightful bonus, try incorporating thermochromic materials into your print job for an extra touch of flair. 31/01/2015 - Added a heat shield over the hot end to reduce unwanted airflow disturbances without compromising nozzle performance. Tested using ABS at 230 degrees Celsius and achieved impressive results. 28/03/2015 - Minimized the base size from 40mm to 38mm for greater compatibility and improved overall print flow.
