Robo3d R1+ build plate holder
thingiverse
I designed these to securely hold my polycarbonate build plate atop my Robo3D R1+ glass plate without hindering the movement of lower Z-axis components, due to clips and dual fans. This design is intended to fit under the glass bed over the bump where side magnets are located. Two pieces of identical type (two left / two right) should suffice, but I included both left and right in case you prefer a better grip; only the right one has been tested so far. Edit: A visible gap between the bed and holders in pictures is due to my plates being slightly larger than the bed, causing the holders to bend for additional space. Update: After printing all four, I noticed an obstruction interfering with the top-right one (left model type). I also confirmed that it works with regular PLA and prints well with 2/3 corners. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Notes: I utilized eSun white FLX PLA, which is semi-flexible. Let me know if it works with regular PLA/ABS as well.
