Robo3d LED Headlight
thingiverse
I don't recall where I initially downloaded the first one from, but I recreated it to make the LED lighting assembly less deep, allowing the LED lenses to emit their full 30 degrees of light projection. The schematic is attached for reference. I connected this setup directly into the extruder fan DC since it only draws minimal current. The resistor's position within the circuit doesn't matter, as long as it's included somewhere. On my model, I soldered it between the two LED lights for space efficiency and aesthetic appeal. This configuration works flawlessly. If I were to make an improvement, I would adjust the angle to direct more light towards the part being printed. However, as is, it functions perfectly fine.
