UPDATE: 10/24/15 - Several updates made to the files to improve the quality of the prints. This bracket attaches your Reprap Full Graphic LCD controller to your Robo 3D printer using a pre-existing screw hole. Two options were created since removing the LCD controller was necessary for everyday use. A version includes space for velcro attachment and provides extra support for buttons and stability for the LCD. Another option is available for attaching brackets with screws directly to the LCD, providing increased stability over brackets found on thingiverse. This project builds upon Stargrove1's original design located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:536482. When installing the bracket onto the Robo, a M6 x 30 screw must be used in place of standard hardware. Note that the picture is outdated; velcro bracket now lacks screw holes and additional support has been added to the arm sections. The case used for the LCD is http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:617468 courtesy of RickyW, which works seamlessly with Werzy's design - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:87250. To assemble correctly: It's highly recommended to print using tougher plastics than PLA if you expect this to last longer. A compromise is printing at 50% infill with PLA; however, it will be more durable as a result. This author successfully printed the bracket in ColorFabb XT, strong as ABS but easier to handle - layer height set at .2mm and using 50% infill for best results.
