robo3d camera bed mount for Logitech C615
thingiverse
I have a Robo3D R1 Plus printer and I wanted to install my webcam on the print bed. I used a mount that placed the camera about six inches back and moved it upward slightly. That was acceptable, until I upgraded my cooling fans, and now I have a massive fan directly in front of the hot end, blocking any interesting view from the camera. So I modified that mount (please check it out too) . I wanted a mount that brought the camera down a bit, I also integrated the ability to use the tripod mount for Logitech C615. I just cut a 1/4 x 20 bolt down to 12.5 mm and placed that in the hole with crazy glue to secure it in place. This was specifically designed for the C615, but feel free to modify it to whatever camera you have, but be careful not to bring the camera down too far, it will get in the way. You do need a spacer block to screw the mount into place, I used the screw that came with my printer and it worked fine. Leave a comment if you have any questions. Here is a link to the first print job that I made with the mount, I am happy with how this turned out, especially on taller items like this, so overall pretty satisfied with the result. https://youtu.be/7U9HRSlIMqk This thing was designed with Tinkercad.
