This was built for the pretty wild, experimental VR experience called "CHAOS ON THE GREEN LINE" for the 2017 Northern Spark Festival in Minneapolis. I played a very small but exciting part in the project, designing, modeling & rigging this cool robotic cockroach that you see during the "Toxic Train" segment. If you follow the link above, you can watch it appear at around 47 seconds along with a swarm of smaller ones. The most thrilling aspect of this project for me was getting to revisit something I hadn't done since college: designing steam-punky robot creatures. I'm definitely going to have to dig out my old models and see if I can transfer them here.
