The Mosaic Palette 2 comes with a subpar attachment mechanism for the Robo R2/C2, so this solution is a must-have. It fits snugly over the filament sensor on your R2/C2: the stock bowden tube inserts and locks in from above, while the bottom part clips securely into the sensor housing, and the Palette's feeder tube snaps firmly in from below. To get it just right, you'll need to set a custom tube length (I use 107mm, including the short Palette 2 feed tube) that takes into account the combined lengths of: Palette Tube + Robo3D filament sensor + Robo3D feed tube. This ensures the Palette feeds the filament all the way through, just past the end of the Robo3D feed tube (right at the extruder), making it a breeze to feed the filament directly into the extruder when it's time to print. As an added bonus, the snap-fit on the bottom holds fast without the bowden tube being inserted from above. This means you can use it to dock the Palette tube on the secondary extruder port when not in use.
