Robo R1 R1+ Hemera Fan
thingiverse
This is a unique remix of two fans, merging elements from the original RoboHemera design with the Hemera 5015 fan shroud. The extruder setup was well-designed for the Robo R1+, but the cooling fan wasn't functioning as expected, prompting me to make some adjustments. I also recommend checking out my cable chain, a separate project available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4159249. The remix was created using Tinkercad, requiring modifications to the Hemera fan shroud and its connection section from RoboHemera. While it may not be aesthetically pleasing, this setup works effectively. A comparison with a MatterControl space guy is included for reference. To ensure optimal performance, I positioned the fan around the silicone sock of the hot end. This necessitated rerouting the heater cartridge and thermistor to enter from the open side. Two STL files are provided: 1. The standalone fan design 2. A version with a small support block integrated into the fan, allowing for bed-only supports
