Robo R1 Plus Case / Enclosure

A Modular Case Designed Specifically for the Robo R1 Printer. No Permanent Modifications Required to the Printer Itself. This versatile case securely attaches to the printer using a simple latching mechanism featuring hooks, ensuring a sturdy hold without any damage to the printer. To get started with building your own modular case, you'll need to cut out specific parts using a laser cutter. Fortunately, assembly of the remaining components can be done entirely by hand, requiring no special tools whatsoever. The accompanying DXF file contains all the necessary files for constructing the case itself. Feel free to arrange them as per your preference; however, if you're unsure about the arrangement, refer to the example PDFs that showcase how I configured my laser cutter for optimal results. For the window component, you can use any piece of acrylic larger than the window hole but smaller than the case itself. This flexibility allows you to choose the perfect size and material for your needs. Watch a step-by-step instructional video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYnVwfppqzU
