Robo 3D Tool Holder
thingiverse
I created this to get rid of all my tools cluttering up my desk. My obsessive-compulsive disorder kicked in, I guess. If you want to customize it for your own needs, I've uploaded the SolidWorks Part File, STEP, and IGES files. The overall size is 200mm x 75mm x 20mm. It's designed to hold: • 4 SD cards • 2 Elmer's glue sticks • Tweezers • Scraper • Exacto knife and blades • Oiler syringe • Screwdriver and bits • 6" calipers • 4 extra nozzles • Super Glue • Space for random bolts/nuts, etc To install it, I'm simply using double-sided tape and sticking it to the side of my Robo. UPDATE: I've switched to printing holders instead of using double-sided tape. The tape was holding okay, but it wasn't as secure as I'd like. I'll post the files once I confirm they work. The print just failed, and now I'm waiting on replacement parts for my Robo. I'll update as soon as I'm back up and running. UPDATE: I've finished the hangers, and they're working better than expected. Plus, they look pretty cool! I also uploaded a revised version of the tool holder, which is basically just rearranging some stuff to better organize it.
