Before printing, arrange parts for printing carefully. Mirror the other side of the body. This is my Spool Roller design, compatible with any spools. The one I downloaded initially had issues with the roll size; mine has a 20 mm opening, while another roll features a large opening. Printers with rolls over the printer often struggle to pull filament due to the angle required. I used a lower part from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1530572 as a reference for measurements. I removed the snap-on feature, allowing the roller to hang freely on the printer cover. For this project, I employed 22 mm O.D. x 8 mm I.D. x 7 mm width bearings (5 pieces). Pins were printed with 100% fill at 0.1 mm resolution for added strength, while the rest of the model featured standard 20% infill settings. A higher roller design facilitates filament insertion and reduces pulling issues. Unfortunately, this initial design did not meet my expectations, causing printing difficulties and interfering with high-priority prints. I resolved these issues by integrating an extension available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2740425. Print Settings: - Printer Brand: Robo 3D - Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model - Rafting: No - Supports: Yes - Resolution: Standard and Fine - Infill: 20% and 100%
