Robo 3D Spool Resizer
thingiverse
I'm brand new to 3D printing, this is my first time trying to model something and print it out, but it turned out way better than I thought, so I figured I'd share it since I couldn't find anyone else's online.\nWhen I started using my Robo 3D with the original spool that came with it, the spool kept slipping off the holder and creating more problems for itself. To solve this, I created this ring to make the center hole smaller on the spool. So far, it's working fantastic.\nThe dimensions of this spool resizer are 2"x2"x1.2". Unfortunately, I don't have any other spools, so I'm not sure if these dimensions will work for other types of spools except the one test spool that came with my Robo 3D Printer.\nIt's also worth noting that I put some duct tape around the outside of the ring to make it fit a bit better and increase grip. You could possibly increase its diameter a little bit and make it fit even snugly, but I didn't want to reprint it and risk it being too big if adding some extra tape would fix the issue instead.
