I attach a small housing around my Robo 3D R1 and R1+ printers' USB port to safeguard against accidental impacts. This protective shield shields my R1 from damage in case I inadvertently bump into the USB plug, elbowing it with force. By securing mine with super glue on the exterior of my printer, everything operates flawlessly now.
