Hemera XS Revo Carriage for the Robo 3D R1 & R1+. Many measurements based on the brendonbuilds RoboHemera. The fan duct is a direct copy with a mounting screw moved due to space constraints on the Hemera XS. Print the carriage halves in something rigid and heat resistant, like PETG, ASA, PC, etc. Print the carriages face down with supports. Print the blower duct as imported. You will also need to download the "BeltBaseClip" and "BeltBaseTower" from the RoboHemera project, as those parts are needed to finish this assembly - if you look at the second picture, the belt tensioner, the orange parts are the two parts we're borrowing from RoboHemera. Update 8/28/2023: Front and rear mounts "BracketBack" and "BracketFrontBLTouch" updated for a slightly tighter bore (-0.1mm) on the LM8LUU, as well as removing 0.4mm from the overall length of the bracket to account for slightly shorter less expensive bearings. The retainer screws for the bearings have also been moved further apart (over 1mm) so that the bores for the screws no longer intrude in the bearing bore. Update 09/13/2023: Fan duct model updated to get the fan clear of the housing sides on higher Z-height. Update 10/15/20203: Revised all parts and added BLTouch bracket to move the BLTouch probe in-line with the nozzle due to bed shift caused by the bed cantilevering against the pillow blocks. I've been running this version for about a month now with great success. The front & rear bracket are now blind bores requiring half as many screws, with the bearings stopping against an internal shoulder. Things you'll need to buy to complete this carriage (sans wires, etc): 2x LM8LUU Linear Bearings 1x BLTouch Probe 1x E3D Hemera XS Revo 2x M3x30 Screws (Tensioner) 2x M3 Nylock Nuts (Tensioner) 2x M3x20 Screws (Base Tower to Back Bracket) 4x M3x6, 8, or 10mm Button Head Screws (Retain LM8LUU Bearings in Carriage Halves) 8x M3x10 Screws (Carriage Halves to Hemera XS Stepper) 1x M3x20 Screw (X Axis Endstop Screw) 2x M3x10 Screw (BLTouch Bracket to Front & Back Bracket) 2x M3x10 Screw (BLTouch to Bracket) 2x M3 Nylock Nuts (BLTouch to Bracket) 2x M3x30 Screw (Fan Duct to Rear Bracket) 1x M3x10 Screw (Fan Duct to Rear Bracket, under blower!) 2x M4x20 Screw (Fan to Duct) Fastener Note: Button or Socket Head screws can be used everywhere except where a button head is called out specifically. Build Note: Requires the use of the "Pergo Robo3D (and R1, Plus) Z Housing Lift" here on Thingiverse in order to retain full 200mm Z-Height. Otherwise you're limited to 185mm. I've been able to achieve speeds over 150mm/sec with this extruder while getting solid quality, with significantly less ringing than the stock extruder.
