I've crafted an upgraded version of this mount that incorporates ducts to channel airflow for superior cooling capabilities. A dual cooling fan mount designed specifically for the Robo 3D R1 that relocates the fans out of the way when employing a larger hotend. I built this to be compatible with my E3D v5, but there's ample clearance so it should work effectively with virtually any hotend you're running. This mount is based on a fan mount conceived by Tesseract which served me well for an extended period before I decided to upgrade to a dual fan system. I modeled this one from scratch, while heavily borrowing from Tesseract's original idea. The mount is engineered to accommodate 40mm or 50mm fans. The fan mount attaches securely to the right side of the carriage using the two existing holes there. You can either use 3mm screws (that's how I had Tesseract's mount installed) or if you manage to strip out the holes like I did, you can tap for a #6-32 machine screw which seems to be working perfectly for me.
