I used the original, but only had one fan. I needed a second fan on the other side too. When I ordered more, I made the mistake of ordering a similar-sized blower fan. A little reworking later and I got the shrouds I needed. One thing to note is that with two fans working together you get much more cooling than a single fan. And my blowers blew a lot more air than the original muffin fan. This cools the extruder as well as the part because the air bounces off of either the part or the bed. Using a later version of Marlin (1.1.9 in my case), this produces a thermal runaway error as the heater cannot compensate. I accommodated this by setting a maximum fan speed in the firmware that would be scaled accordingly. This is done in configuration_adv.h: define FAN_MAX_PWM 100 // My value, 0-255 adjust for your fan
