Robo 3D R1 60mm Ramps cooling fan adapter
thingiverse
This is an adapter I designed to replace the 40mm ramps cooling fan located at the bottom of the Robo3D printer. Space constraints necessitate this adapter hold the new 60mm fan partially suspended below the bottom plate. The top of the fan now sits no higher than the original fan. To determine your location, mark a spot and cut a 60.2mm hole in the bottom plate. Mount the fan, noting that tape is only holding the wires in place; the fan fits snugly into the adapter. Plug the fan back into its existing connection and reinstall the bottom plate. Make sure you have a 12-volt fan available; printer extension feet are required (thing 217346). Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Medium Infill: 40% Notes: Those were the settings from my last print job. You can get by with less infill, if you prefer.
