ROBO 3D - Low Filament Alarm Holder/Guide

thingiverse

This is a custom solution for the Low Filament Alarm designed by EndlessParts.com. I created this alarm to notify me when I'm running low on filament during a print, ensuring that I'm always nearby to intervene if needed, even while still allowing me to be in the area. The peace of mind provided by being alerted about low filament levels is invaluable, especially for long prints where my presence might not be possible at all times. However, I had to improvise with mounting systems since the original didn't meet my expectations - that's why I adapted it using my remake of the ROBO filament guide (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1374081) to secure the alarm effectively. It locks into place where the filament feeds, as shown in the attached photos. The Low Filament Alarm can be found here: http://goo.gl/Ds9ryI, along with YouTube videos and reviews for further information. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 25% Notes: The print should not require any supports if done as oriented in the .stl file.
