Robo 3D Gopro Print Monitor Swing/Tilt Bed Mount
pinshape
Use a GoPro Hero 3 to wirelessly monitor prints and take video or timelapse shots. This is an easy-to-use pressure-fit plate mount for Robo 3D. It will probably work with other 4mm glass beds, too. The mount is fully orientable and hand tightens with the included special swing knobs. You'll need to get three 1/4" bolts, each half inch to three quarters long, plus three 1/4" nuts, and a standard GoPro knob/nut. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Infill: 20% Use standard 1/4-20 nuts and hex bolts. M6 may also work well. Position the GoPro frame in the yoke, then push a short hex bolt through each side. Depending on which way you turn each swing knob, it can either be trapped or removed without unthreading the nut. Push the third hex bolt through the bottom of the yoke and seat it. This bolt goes through the bed plate clamp and is snugged in place underneath with the third swing knob. This design lets you access the USB, SD card slot, start/stop button, and Wi-Fi button when the camera is inserted upside down. However, the mini HDMI port will be inaccessible, so you'll need a different design if you want an HDMI feed.
