Robo 3D Filament Guide
thingiverse
Filament Guide for Robo 3D. This model is entirely printable and requires no external parts; see my tabletop spool rollers if you're looking for other solutions. The reason I created this guide was that storing your filament spool above your printer is generally a poor idea, as it can lead to catastrophic results - imagine dropping a one-kilogram spool onto your glass bed! I have tested and refined the design and I'm pleased to report that it works exceptionally well, allowing you to safely roll out your filament on the table beside your printer. Update: Following my extensive use of this guide to print multiple complex models, I've experienced no issues whatsoever with my filament feed. Consider taking a look at my other designs for tabletop spool rollers if you're interested in exploring alternative solutions. Take some time to capture a photo and share it with the community if you decide to create your own filament guide.
