The X-Carriage for Robo 3D printer supports both EZStruder and E3D hot ends, with updated files using a zip tie mounting method to avoid disassembling the entire printer. It also features an increased strength belt housing due to a previous issue. This carriage is designed for Pico or E3D hot ends and employs zip tie mounting for simpler assembly and alignment resolution. The front side includes holes for part cooling fan mounting, specifically designed for a Pico hot end. Created using Fusion 3D software, printing requires ABS material with 15% infill, although increasing to 25% is recommended. Support is needed during printing, facing the front downwards; an acetone vapor bath is suggested but optional. The carriage loses about 15mm of X width but can be potentially regained through clever packaging. Extruder pulses/mm are 92.6 for E3D hot end use.
