"Roberto" Ender 3 Fan Duct
thingiverse
This is my initial design in Fusion 360, and there may be numerous issues due to my lack of experience. I won't upload any aerodynamic test results because I'm still a newcomer to Fusion. Perhaps someone else can conduct this test for me later. I created it for several reasons: 1. It bears a resemblance to Roberto from Futurama - not exactly a serious motivation. 2. The hot end has extremely easy access. 3. Two 5015 fans are used, so if you break the standard fan, you can always switch to one of these instead. 4. You have excellent visibility under the nozzle and can easily observe the first layer. 5. It's very lightweight, allowing for high-speed printing without compromising quality. 6. The left fan, which cools the radiator, is directed specifically at the radiator. After a couple of hours of printing, the radiator will be extremely cool. It's recommended to use PLA because it's less flexible than PETG and the radiator stays remarkably cool. I've included a direct mount for stock extruders, but I haven't tested it since my stock extruder broke down. It would be great if someone could test it out. You'll need: 4 x M4x25MM Screws (####Use screws with the thinnest heads you have###) 4 x M4 Nuts 2 x 5015 Fans After the first comment, I made some adjustments: 1. The screw heads will no longer catch on the motor box and tensioner screw. 2. Hot end cable management has been improved. 3. A small but functional piece was added to the top for connecting cables with zip-ties. 4. Fan duct cooling has been enhanced. If you notice any issues, please point them out in the comments. !!Share your creations!! P.S I'm from Poland, so forgive my imperfect English
