This is the articulation System fitting for the formal Robbe Dolly RC modelboat kit. To complete this, several things are required: A Modul 0.5 double gear with 10 and 26 teeth and a Modul 0.5 gear with 10 and 18 teeth must be obtained. These can be found in sets like https://www.banggood.com/75-Type-Plastic-Crown-Gear-Single-Double-Reduction-Gear-Worm-Gear-p-961920.html?rmmds=detail-top-buytogether-auto&cur_warehouse=CN. Additionally, a gear rack is needed; I used the 28160100 from www.maedler.de. Furthermore, two metal pipes are required: one with an outer diameter of 2mm as an axle and another with an outer diameter of 3mm and an inner diameter of 2.1mm as a bearing. A micro servo must also be obtained, along with a 1mm diameter stainless steel rod to connect the servo-arm to the gear rack. The connection at the servo should be approximately 7.5 to 8 mm from the center to achieve the required 12mm lift for two turns of the steering wheel. After completion, two self-tapping screws are necessary to fit the halves together; they should have a diameter of 3mm and a length of 5mm, including the head. Once assembled, the unit can be inserted into the deck unit of the kit (the wheel mounting hole should be at least 2.5mm in diameter); it is designed to fit without glue, allowing for easy removal for maintenance.
