The 3D model of this pig's skull originates from a modern roasted pig, which was later dissected by then Virginia Commonwealth University student John Bush. The head was digitized using a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner while it remained frozen. However, the scanning process had to be terminated after just one session due to the head beginning to thaw. The resulting defleshed skull can be accessed online at https://skfb.ly/6uKND. This 3D scan was performed by Virtual Curation Lab.
