Human: Convert current Magellan Roadmate GPS Navigation devices From Ball to “T-Slot” type socket mounts. \nEarly Magellan Roadmate GPS devices used a “T-Slot” socket to mount the device to dashboard, windshield, cup holder and other mount locations. At some point in succeeding models, the “T-Slot” was replaced with a 16mm ball mount that can accept various cradles, which allow attachment of different models. A custom adapter takes approximately 26 minutes to print using 0.6 meter (5 gm) filament with the reverse side of the ball plate lying flat on the bed; no supports were needed. \nPhotos show the adapter installed on a T-Slot cup holder mount and inserted into the ball-socket of an RM 5265 cradle. NO supports were needed in my case. \nPost-Printing\nAfter printing, some minor sanding may be required to smooth the top surface of the ball mount plate, ensuring easy and complete movement over the T-Slot.
