Roadie evolved as the mascot for Silent Sci-Fi through a series of sketches created during planning and recording sessions in June 2016. Initially inspired by Robbie from Forbidden Planet and incorporating elements of Fallout's Brain Bots, these doodles featured a robot with a glass dome-shaped head busily moving amplifiers, constructing stages, playing guitars, and otherwise causing chaos everywhere it went.
