Starting a new series, Road To: "2020", with the theme being Heavy Nintendo Villains (HNV). Ten iconic antagonists will be featured on my page by January 1st, 2020, all paying homage to their original appearances. First up is Bowser from the Mario games! As the primary antagonist of Mario, he's a force to be reckoned with, but surprisingly, will lend a hand when the Mushroom Kingdom is threatened. My design for Bowser draws inspiration from his classic look in promotional art for the N64 era of Mario titles. Notable appearances include Super Mario Bros. (1985), Super Mario Bros. 3, and Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Next up is a true classic: Donkey Kong, who first appeared in 1981.
