I designed this Road Ranger Style Gear Shifter for 4WD Applications. The design boasts a 38x22mm cutout on the driver's right-hand side, allowing for easy installation of a common standard Carling switch. Simply flip the base to relocate the switch to the left side for non-RHD vehicles. Three-millimeter screw holes feature a 1.5mm taper at the top to accommodate a 3mm countersunk self-tapping screw with a 20mm overall shaft length. To illustrate its practicality, consider installing an electronic switch for your Differential Lock. This enables seamless on/off switching while driving, streamlining the process of engaging the locker by allowing you to gear down and lock in one smooth motion. Other potential uses include wiring up a spotlight switch, rotating beacon switch, or any other application requiring convenient switching capabilities.
