Road light - street light

After months of searching without success, I've decided to design my own lamp from scratch. Drawing inspiration from a real-world model shown above, I created a custom 3D printing project. However, I faced an unexpected challenge when attempting to curve a tube within the program's design capabilities - so my initial design features straight lines instead. Just then, a heat wave rolled in and I was forced to improvise using a makeshift mold. As soon as it's painted, which I'm thinking will be a gray hue, I'll install an inner lining of foil to dissipate heat while maximizing light reflection downwards. Since the LED light is powered by 6 volts but designed for use with 5V to avoid overheating due to its filament construction, I opted to keep the existing power setting as a safety precaution. By doing so, the filament's operational voltage is kept within recommended parameters. The model includes space inside to fit an electronic light source or LED which you can use along with standard copper wires for a simple installation. Just follow the provided setup - simply place a 6V or even more preferred 5V electronic light source or small low-voltage AC-DC adapter into it. Don't forget that it's advisable to connect your lighting using power supply cables with sufficient current, since we're talking about 4 watts. Once completed and you print this lamp for your home, office space, interior decoration project, you could consider placing a low voltage light inside it as an aesthetic part, since the LED gives enough brightness. However, take in consideration how long does takes to burn down an 5-volt DC LED if they're made of aluminum, which is commonly used when building small scale prototypes. Feel free to customize any aspect that doesn't meet your taste or simply doesn't feel "you". We love collaboration and improvement here, so go ahead - add or change what suits you the most. I hope this 3D print works well for those who make one and also want it on their shelves, office table, bedroom side nightstand desk or any space to enjoy beautiful design created with just some lines of simple gcode from me to the world community sharing here so everyone has fun making cool stuff with our machines, just be safe when building!
