Road bike keyboard shelf for Zwift
thingiverse
A quick design of a keyboard holder for road bike handlebars to be used for Zwift or other cycling simulator programs. This design is minimalist and designed to be easily removed when not needed. It is not attached to the bars in any way, but could be easilly modified to do so. The design was laser cut out of 1/4" Baltic birch plywood using a ThunderLaser Nova 24 laser cutter. Two files, one fits on a 11.5"x20" board that fits a Glowforge, the other file is for the wrist rest and wouldn't fit on one sheet. The plywood pieces were glued using standard wood glue and then clamped. The holes in the bottom of the keyboard shelf help with mounting. NOTE: This file was designed for my handlebars which are 44 cm (17.3") road handlebars with 12.5 cm (5") between the stem mount centerline and brake hoods. If you have 42 cm bars this design will need to be modified. Similarly if the spacing between the stem centerline and brake hoods is different you will need to modify the design.
