Reverse Osmosis (RO) process removes all salts, contaminants, viruses, bacteria, cysts etc. down to a size of 0.0001 micron without requiring chemical treatment. The reverse osmosis filtration technology is based on a multi-layer membrane which filters the water under high water pressure. The technology is suitable for seawater and brackish (ground) water and works by applying pressure on the saline water in the semi-permeable membrane.
