RNLI D Class Lifeboat Nav Console

RNLI D Class Lifeboat Nav Console

This is the console for a D-class lifeboat designed to fit within a 1/10 inflatable boat by new_POPE. It turned out great with a 0.4 nozzle, but to bring out the finer details such as the man overboard button or more intricate buttons on the VHF, it really needs a smaller diameter. Remember to lay it on its back in your slicer to speed up the process and eliminate the need for supports altogether. This console also comes with a backplate that can be glued to the back for extra support or left out to house the ESC. Due to the real boat's cover being loose, plasticized material and not solid, use a survival bivvi bag or thick orange carrier bag such as Sainsbury's 10p strong bags and hot glue on to achieve the correct look. Print at 100% scale if you're using new_POPE's boat. [Check out the fuel can servo disguise I made so I can steer in this boat, because I'm too lazy to make the outboard.] I've also created oars that fit on the same boat and resemble the RNLI D-class ones. Check them out! Check out my pointed D-class nose and pointed rear sponsons with extender! The photo may look squished, but I assure you it's the right shape and dimensions.
