This high-resolution, near-to-scale model showcases exquisite detail down to deck furniture. Its textures are fully realized, capturing every intricate element. Notably, the bridge and stern bridges receive the same attention, complete with operational cranes, propellers, rudder, and lifeboats that can be animated. Geometrically built for maximum realism, this 3D model boasts an exceptionally high number of polygons, further emphasizing its precision. Minute details like ladders, radio antennas, doors, navigation lights, lifeboats, davits, handrails, and many more all contribute to a convincingly authentic appearance. Dedicated ship builders at the White Star Line successfully launched the RMS Titanic in Ireland on May 31st, 1911, making it the largest ocean liner of its time. At launch, the ship could accommodate an impressive total of 2,435 passengers and 892 crew members onboard. Despite several design flaws - notably the limited number of lifeboats with a maximum capacity of only 1178 persons - this inadequacy was at that point not considered a major concern due to prevailing views that these ships were nearly unsinkable. However, fate had other plans for RMS Titanic's maiden voyage from Southampton England on April 10th, 1912. In the early morning hours of April 14th, around 11:40pm in the North Atlantic Ocean, it struck and iceberg that had severely breached five watertight compartments within the ship, leading to its sudden demise in merely two hours. This horrific event ultimately claimed the lives of an estimated 1,500 passengers and crew onboard.
