Just got my hands on a brand new RMRC Recruit, but I had no idea where to call home for my VTX Antenna and Crossfire Antenna. Since I'm all about design and printing, I figured why not create some custom mounts that would make installation a breeze? After carefully attaching the antennas to zipties and extending the VTX wire to the mounts, I used small thumb screws to secure the mounts and wings in place. Then, it was time to top off with the plane's top section and voila! My VTX antenna was securely attached without so much as a snip of the plane's surface. The best part? No more worrying about that pesky VTX cable extension getting all tangled up when I'm switching out my antenna. Took me a few tries to get it just right, but now it's perfect – and I'm always open to hearing your thoughts on how I could take it to the next level!
