RMRC Goby 210 HS1177 Slant Mount
thingiverse
I designed this housing to perfectly accommodate the HS1177 Camera in the Ready Made RC Goby 210 frame. The camera angle can be adjusted from 0-45 degrees, but it's unlikely you'll need to go below 25 degrees if you carefully position components between the FC Stack and camera. The top plate slopes down at a comfortable 10 degrees, making it ideal for HD mounts that don't require high-angle adjustments. This results in maximum angle on your HD Camera without needing heavier and more awkward high-angle mounts. The rear mount features a notch to guide the antenna out the back. My VTX (TS5823) is neatly mounted under the FC stack. Assembly requires some finesse, as the TPU prints will be flexible and need a bit of pressure when screwing in the frame screws. To ensure a secure hold, use 8-9mm screws through the 4mm frame and 5mm screws maximum through the top plate. I've uploaded both file sets for your convenience, as some users may prefer to print in ABS without post-processing the holes. The files with TPU at the end have slightly thicker walls to reduce flexing and smaller mount holes to improve grip on M3 screws. If you're printing in ABS, I highly recommend using aluminum hardware, as it threads into the material much better and lasts longer than steel hardware. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1-0.3mm Infill: 100% Notes: Both parts should be printed Bottom Down on the bed. I adjust Perimeters to suit each part, filling walls as best possible. Two perimeters usually work well for me.
