RMR Cut Cover Plate to Picatinny Rail

Late last night I had an incredibly brilliant idea to mount a tubular red dot onto a pistol. So, I quickly came up with this design. I haven't tested it yet and wouldn't rely on plastic to handle the repeated recoil myself, but here it is for your entertainment. (I don't have my red dot right now because I lent it to a friend to try out, but when I get it back, I'll post a picture of it mounted)
