RK17 A001333 is a spoon unearthed during the archaeological excavation of the Rooswijk in 2017. In 2016, Dutch and British archaeologists conducted a thorough survey on the site where the Dutch East Indiaman Rooswijk had sunk, revealing it was at high risk. To mitigate this danger, a team comprised of experts from Historic England and the Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) joined forces to undertake an archaeological excavation during summer 2017.
