RK17 A00112 is a Piece of Eight that turned up during the archaeological excavation of the Rooswijk in 2017. In 2016, Dutch and British archaeologists conducted a survey on the site where the Dutch East Indiaman Rooswijk lies, revealing it was at high risk. To tackle this issue, a team formed from Historic England and the Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) to undertake an archaeological excavation in summer 2017.
